The ancient practice of yoga is about the journey. There is no competition, or start or finish line, rather, the focus is on the present moment, acceptance and joy. Through a greater focus on the breath, one becomes more in tune and in balance which brings stability and the ability to experience more joy.

Choosing Your Journey's Course
You'll find class descriptions here designed for every body. And remember, you can also schedule a private class or even host your own party at Senara, for little people or adults. Most importantly, come and practice as you are, all are welcome!
This offering focuses on breath, alignment and building a strong foundation. Yoga Basics is not just for beginners - it is for anyone looking to refine their practice and focus on correct form. Students will be guided through meditation, and asana, which is the meditation in motion. Learn fundamental postures, sequencing and a little yoga philosophy. Release into the final pose, known as savasana, and enjoy your post-yoga blissful state of mind.
This all-levels class is suitable for the beginning yogi as well as those ready to move beyond. Continued focus on the breath, while fine tuning your alignment will help you develop deeper into your practice. Honor yourself and learn to find your own edge.
Athletic Yoga Flow
An invigorating class with an emphasis on strength, flexibility and stamina. Connect your Ujjai breath with flow-based sun salutations, standing poses, hip-openers, seated poses, twists, backbend and inversions. Beginning students can build a strong base while more advanced yogis can continue their progress. Be prepared to enjoy a challenge!
This offering is unique to our studio and is designed to compliment any medical treatments you may be utilizing, including chiropractic care. Come experience yoga intended to help alleviate back pain or joint pain, to help you sleep better and feel more energized. Even if you aren't in treatment, you can always benefit from enhancing your alignment - appropriate for all levels. Yoga for Weight Loss
Tone and tighten your entire body as we take you through your full range of motion and work towards more strength, flexibity, and body awareness. This class will also emphasize core cultivation. Weight loss is enhanced due to the inner awareness and knowledge that a yoga practice develops over time. This class is for all levels and people of all physical conditions.
Yoga is for every BODY, of any age and condition. You are only as young as your spine in healthy, and a healthy spine is the ultimate goal with Gentle Yoga. The focus in this class is on working with anyone that is experiencing reduced range of motion, strength, or working with pain. The movement in this class is a bit slower and we hold the postures a little longer so that the work goes deep into your muscles and tissues. This offering is great for any level of practice and appropriate for those working on injury recovery, stress reduction, or just moving to be more aligned in life.
Boot(y)Camp is a total body fitness program designed to challenge every aspect of your fitness through an extensive variety of strength and conditioning exercises. This program will push your limits and support your wellness goals in weight management, strength building, and cross training. This class is expertly designed by certified fitness trainers Jeff Wolffe and Tim Swanson to accommodate all levels from beginners to advanced. Whenever possible, workouts will be held outside. Some equipment will be used, but majority of work is body-weight bases. Every workout is unique so that your body and mind are continuously challenged in new ways.
Monday Morning Moms
Join a community of like-minded moms that believe in wellness as a lifestyle. This is a one hour yoga class for all levels and open to mothers of any age, grown or babies. Enjoy an hour long asana session with a relaxation focus, and then stick around to enjoy good conversation and a hot cup of tea. Childcare is provided free of charge. This offering is also open to yogis of any age and background.
Warm Yoga Flow
Enhance your yoga practice in a room heated to nearly 85 degrees. This all-levels class, based on Baron Baptiste's teachings, uses breath and flowing movement to link yoga postures together. The warm room allows you to move deeper into your postures safely. The warmth also helps to speed up metabolism and increase cardio benefit, promotes natural healing, allows you to achieve fuller relaxation and releases tight muscles. By the end of class, you'll experience a wonderful feeling of relaxation and accomplishment both physically and mentally. Please BRING a towel to cover your mat, another towel for your body and plenty of water to drink.
Happy Hour Yoga
This is a 45-minute active asana class designed to unwind you from a hectic work week and rev you up for a great weekend. The class is appropriate for all levels of students, beginners to advanced yogis are welcome. To further relax you, stick around for a complimentary glass of wine, beer, or hot tea and enjoy conversation with your fellow yogis. This special class is offered on the final Friday of every month.
This special class for moms-to-be offers modifications to yoga practice that you can use later in all yoga classes. There is so much coming at pregnant women that it is often hard to stay on YOUR course. Prenatal yoga is an ideal class forum to help find your way through this special time. This group activity will give you knowledge, insight, and confidence that YOU know what is best for you and your baby. It includes:
- Yoga for 1/2/3 trimester
- Yoga for alleviating discomfort
- Yoga for labor
- Birth plan and nursing discussions

Taiji is the art of stillness in motion utilizing the interaction of yin and yang. Senara offers traditional Chen Style Taiji and Qigong classes. Scientific evidence is now documenting the benefits of Taiji practice, including improvement in balance, strength and the immune system. Essential curriculum includes: static and dynamic Qigong exercises; standing, sitting and laying down meditation; and traditional Chen Form and basic Push Hands exercises. Classes are ongoing each week so you may start at any time.
