Preparing For Your First Senara Hormone Health Consultation
Getting started with BioIdentical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT) healing begins with gathering a lot of information. Once all of that information has been compiled, your care plan can be prescribed. Because of this, your initial BHRT consultation will be done in two (or more) parts.
Prior to Your First Visit
Before your first doctor consultation we ask that you fill out our Medical History Form that will be emailed to you and collect copies of any laboratory tests and diagnostics from your other medical providers. We require that you complete and submit both the intake form and prior test results to us no later than 3 days prior to your initial scheduled appointment. If you are unable to submit this information to us within the requested time frame we will reschedule your appointment to a later date.
Your First Senara Hormone Health Consultation
During your first consultation we will perform a series of assessments, labs, and review and update your medical history. These findings will help us better understand your health conditions and help us establish a baseline for your treatment.
Follow-Up Consultation and Treatment Plan
At your follow-up appointment we will go over your test results and detailed treatment plan. Your treatment plan will be customized for you, with the goal of treating any applicable health conditions and concerns.
What to Expect at Your Follow-Up Consultation
- We will review your health and diet history
- We will discuss results of your physical exams, lab draws, and other diagnostics
- We will present you with your program recommendations and go over them in detail with you
- You will be given supplements and/or prescriptions that your doctor recommends for your plan
- You will schedule a follow-up appointments, classes, labs, etc.
Costs for Hormone Replacement Therapy
Due to the lack of reimbursement and time dedicated the management of hormone health patients Senara does not accept insurance for Hormone Health Services. However, you may use your HSA/FSA if you have that available.
Your prescriptions may or may not be covered depending on your insurance and you will be responsible for verifying your pharmaceutical coverage. We use several pharmacies locally and online and are also happy to use one you prefer as long as they can compound medication, as many hormone medications are compounded.
Our fees below include calling in prescriptions once quarterly. ANY additional pharmacy communication will be billed at $35 per call. Meaning, if you switch pharmacies multiple times, require us to call several times, you will be billed for our time to manage those calls.
We prescribe for 3 months at a time, after those 3 months you will be required to receive new labs and a review of levels and results before new prescriptions are given. We want you safe and receiving the best outcomes for you!
- Hormone New Patient Consultation: $250
- Lab Draw and Testing for Hormone Replacement: $150.00
- A full panel of up to 10 labs for health and hormones. New labs will be drawn every 3 months to revise and check levels.
- Review of Labs and Treatment Planning: $180.00
- Additional Medication Management if outside the allotted amount: $35.00
